  2. Theodore Roosevelt introduces and explains the meaning of living a strenuous life in a excellent manner that is easy to understand. Roosevelt states that living a strenuous life has to do not only with an individual, but as a nation togehter in a goal to progress and succeed. Roosevelt argues that in order to reach the strenuous life we have to work hard and never give up no matter what we go through. If we work hard and earn a strenuous life other people will recognize the effort, yet if we were to give up there will always be someone else out there willing to take advantage of any opportuniy. Roosevelt lays out the reality of reaching a strenuous life and explains the benefits that come with it for individuals and our nation in a persuasive form to get his point through clearly.
Roosevelt considers living a strenuous life vital due to the fact that we live in a great nation where leaders and success go hand to hand with each other. Roosevelt reviews the past history of our nation and admires the accomplishments that have shaped our future today. For example, he pays tribute to the soldiers who fought in past wars and calls out those citizens who have not done anything for our country, yet Roosevelt encourages positive and determined minds.
This idea is applicable to todays world in many ways because we live in a nation that competes with itself and other countries around the world such as China to be the best in the world. Roosevelt encourages that we have to continue to take into consideration the strenuous life because it has truly shaped the past, present, and the future of our lifes and of the United States. By continuing to be efficient and productive we will follow Theodore Roosevelts ideas into a level of dominance and leadership that will guide our nation for years to come in a successful strenuopus life.

  3. Just the reading is due. You don't actually have to turn in the questions.
